[2009] Singapore

This is what Singapore looks like when you do it in 4 hrs!
We saw most of it from a Taxi...but we were able to fit in as much food as possible to get a pretty good taste of it. Although I felt pretty sick leaving Singapore, it was well worth the tummy ache. They have such a great variety of food and drinks. I had a few tips from my friend Amy, who lived there for a semester on exchange during university. So we tried to eat everything on her list.

[2011] Neuschwanstein, Germany

Daytrip!!! Our daytrip to Nueschwanstein was lovely. We drove through a lovely area getting there, parked, enjoyed a refreshing glass of beer in the Sun then took a bus up to one of the castles. It was the one that was never finished due to the fact that the King was killed/or committed to an asylum. It's also the one that the Disney castle is based off of. I have to say I was really impressed with the castle. Although there are only about 2/3 floors which were finished, there were some beautiful rooms, and included a man made cave.
This was one of those days where I didn't know which camera to use for what. There were just a lot of things I wanted to take photos of. I had a film camera, a fish eye camera and a digital. I ended up loving my film photos the most.Too bad it was really expensive developing photos in Austria.

[2009] MoMa, USA

I love this museum. I wish I had one down the block from where I lived. I would go there once a week!
One of the coolest instillations I saw there was called "Measuring the Universe" by Roman Ondák. Everyone who went through measured their height and wrote their first name and the date. It ended up being a beautiful design and you got to be a part of it.

Last time Yoko Ono had a wishing tree in the square behind the museum where you could write a wish and hang on it. I'm still waiting to see if my dream will come true.

[2010] Miyajima, Japan

Thanks to our friend Brian, who highly suggested this tourist site, we visited this city and let me tell you, it was well worth the ferry ride. Miyajima is a beautiful wonderland. I thought I had popped into a Disney fairyland because I found myself surrounded by beautiful temples, cherry blossoms, dirt roads and deer. Yes, DEER! Just roaming the streets, eating cherry blossom petals and just hangin'.
SIGH~
