[2014] Jökulsárlón-Glacier lagoon, Iceland

The one thing that I really wanted to see in Iceland was icebergs, I have no idea why, but it was a must for me. So we drove many hours in the first two days to make sure we got there right at the beginning of our trip. It was a beautiful drive and we were lucky with the weather. It was overcast and misty at times, but because we'd dressed appropriately it didn't bother us too much.

A beautiful day in the vineyards outside of Montreaux.
Route Gourmand. I believe we were the earliest to check in and one of the last people to finish the route.
This was not Becky's first rodeo, so she was excited even before it began!
Now I know why. My favourite thing was the pouches for the wine glasses. So practical.

[2013] Paris, France

Since I've lived in Europe, I've made a point to go to Paris at least once a year. This trip to Paris was especially memorable because I met up with Emily and Souba from Korea. It was sad that Kirstin couldn't join us this time around (we met up in Milan the year before), but we managed to enjoy ourselves still.

Coincidentally my friend from university was in Paris with his wife, so we met up with them at La Duree for a coffee and treat.

Each time I visit Paris, I learn a little bit more about it, but I feel like I've still only scratched the surface.

Last year our bible study group went on a retreat to Sion for a weekend. It was so relaxing and enjoyable. We played games, ate food, chatted and got to know each other a little bit better. We also went into the hot tub at night and it was FREEZING!
